The Royal Chair is a folding stool with a majestic stance. A simple, functional chair with slatted side panels and a square seat that fold into each other for practical flat storage. Designer and artist Jens Quistgaard is said to have been inspired by the Roman Empire when he designed the stool; hence the regal posture and name.
